As the Aspen Fire continues to impact our community, Pueblo Cooperative Care Center is doing everything we can to support individuals and families affected by the evacuation.

To date, we have delivered approximately 600 pounds of food to the evacuation center and are continuing to provide emergency assistance to those in need. In addition to our regular services, we are making ourselves available outside of our normal public hours to ensure evacuees and first responders have access to critical resources.

Our staff is onsite Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is responding to emergency requests as they arise. We remain committed to serving our neighbors during this difficult time with food, hygiene items, clothing, and other essential assistance.

We are grateful for your continued partnership and support. Your investment in Pueblo Cooperative Care Center allows us to respond quickly when disasters like this occur, ensuring that help is available when our community needs it most.

Anyone impacted by any of the active disasters across Colorado can dial 2-1-1 for available resources, including no-cost transitional housing through Airbnb.org with initial stays up to 10 days.

SoCo Giving Hearts is working to provide long-term recovery assistance for families affected by the fires.

While the immediate emergency response has been incredible, we know that many families will continue to face challenges long after those efforts wind down. Our goal is to help bridge that gap by providing ongoing support to those in need.

We are currently raising funds and collecting donations through our Amazon Wish List to provide essential items such as household supplies, toiletries, socks, underwear, cleaning products, and other everyday necessities for affected families.

I've attached our flyers with more information. Families impacted by the fires are also welcome to contact SoCo Giving Hearts directly if they need assistance or would like to learn more about the resources we hope to provide during the recovery process.
