Phil Long Dealerships steps up for fire relief efforts
(SPONSORED) — In the wake of the devastating Aspen Acres Fire, Phil Long Dealerships is once again stepping up to support the southern Colorado community with a generous donation to the FOX21 Fire Relief Fundraiser, benefiting the United Way of Southern Colorado.
FOX21’s Krista Witiak stopped by Phil Long Ford of Chapel Hills and sat down with Shawn Flynn, COO, EVP, and Partner of Phil Long Dealerships, to talk about why community support is a core responsibility for the company.
“We believe it’s our responsibility as a business to support others and connect them to the resources they need as they recover and rebuild their lives,” Flynn said, noting that nearly everyone in the region knows someone who has been impacted by Colorado’s history of wildfires.

This donation is part of a long-standing tradition of relief efforts for Phil Long Dealerships. During the Waldo Canyon and Black Forest Fires, the group kept its service departments open 24/7, with technicians volunteering personal time to repair first-responder vehicles.
Just last year, they donated $30,000 to Team Rubicon during the LA wildfires—a relationship that continues today through the Ford Building Together initiative. This national partnership brings Ford and Team Rubicon’s veteran-led disaster response teams together to deploy vehicles, equipment, and volunteers directly to communities hit by natural disasters.

That focus on disaster response ties directly into the dealership’s next major initiative. Phil Long is currently preparing for its 5th annual Veterans and Military Families Appreciation Month giveback campaign this November.
