PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - On Monday, Pueblo County leaders announced two resources to help with the recovery process for people impacted by the Aspen Acres Fire.

For residents of the County who evacuated due to the fire and need documentation, a new interactive map includes information on specific dates and times of evacuations.

According to a printable version of the resource, it can be used “in conjunction with the official evacuation map... for insurance and other verification purposes.”

Also on Monday, Pueblo County announced that demolition permit assistance is available for people whose homes were impacted by the Aspen Acres Fire.

According to a release from the County, a demolition permit is required to remove debris “so the County can help ensure utilities are safely disconnected or capped and cleanup work is completed safely.”

Pueblo County has replaced the standard demolition permit fee with a “substantially reduced flat fee.” A donor has also provided $10,000 to help with demolition permit fees for uninsured home owners and people can request a waiver of the permit fee through the Pueblo County Building Division.
